Since 2015, the Ohio Pennsylvania Associate Leadership (OPAL) has been committed to the support and enrichment of current and emerging leaders by offering resources and training to grow the Associate movement.

Guided by the Holy Spirit and rooted in the charisms and spirituality of our religious affiliations', OPAL stands ready to offer opportunities for ongoing development for women and men who will gather to share prayer ideas, resources, and challenges as we move into "new ways of being - new ways of ministering."

We invite you to membership with OPAL as we work to promote and support Associate Leadership.  Participation in OPAL allows you to become a part of this movement giving witness to the important work of the Holy Spirit in our world today.  As you look toward the future, consider where God has called you - Religious and Associates alike - to live out the mission and charism of your Religious Community.

$100 Congregational Membership Includes:

•          Listing for three designees in our directory who will receive our written and electronic communications (This includes a director from your group/community.)

•          Participation in all events by all members. (We invite you to invite others from your community!)

•          Listing on our website with links to yours

•          Inclusion of your activities on our social media

•          Inclusion in printed materials, including our pamphlet, shared with all members 

•          Invitation to lead, organize and participate in virtual and in person presentations

•          Connections to other members for collaborative efforts and consultations

•          Membership rates for annual conference

•          Opportunity for OPAL leadership positions

$25 Individual membership includes:  

•          Opportunity to participate in online presentations/conversations

•          Discounted annual workshop rates

•          The reception of newsletters and other OPAL communications and links

Membership fees cover these OPAL costs:

•          Technology, including maintenance of our website, virtual meeting space and assistance

•          Convenience costs, including online registrations and banking fees

•          Materials, including printing and mailings

•          Workshop costs, including speaker fees and facilities

 (No compensation is received by anyone on the OPAL Leadership team.)

The individual membership is only if your congregation/Associate Community does not have a membership. On the membership form you will find lines to list up to three Associates who may attend OPAL team meetings.  Members also receive member rates for OPAL Conferences and workshops.  An unlimited number of Community Sisters and Associates may attend workshops and conferences.  Your membership fee will help to fund the work of OPAL, workshops and conferences.
